An example of nostalgie de la boue...might this suffice: your mind travels back to the last day of Caaarniiivaaaal; you've guzzled bottles of beer, wine, and rum. Then danced with old Jamaican men, snake-hipped women and lamposts. Eventually, you awake in the gutter with your skirt over your head and a smile on your face. The memory is sweet....
