The chair controversy ( see 18 August entry) has now been resolved, and Hotel Djenné Djenno will have dining chairs like the one above, all with different African wax prints in bright colours, which will be repeated in the table napkins. As a concession to Keita we will also have some of the undeniably practical plastic chairs on the roof for sundowner drinks.
