My friend Pia is lovely and encouraging. She has a very fresh way to look at things. Last night she said to me that we were sitting in a giant painting that I had painted. I had an idea and transformed it into something real. 'For instance', she said, 'you thought of that door over there, and now it exists and someone just walked through it!'
