Preparing Hotel Djenné Djenno for another visitation of The Beast. This time all the rooms are taken, including mine. The sofas in the three suites like the one above are turned into beds and we are making three 'bedrooms' on the roof where people are given proper beds, sheets, and walls made of grass mats as separations. There they can sleep under the African stars, protected by a mosquito net. Roof sleeping has existed for a long time here, and many hotels offer it as an alternative. But I intend to make it into a luxurious experience...
