I feel for you. That is a lot of water. There seems to be water everywhere - in Asia too, and in my favorite place, Maun, Botswana where they had much more water than in decades. Here in the Sonoran desert, we haven't had even remotely enough this year. It's one or the other, it seems. Back to reading your blog.

thank you for your symphathetic message- I need it! We just had another great storm much worse than what I thoughrt was bad the other day! Al the staff and me have worked flat out for several hour at the pumps and with the buckets again..I could do with some Arizona climate!
(which is actually what Mali is supposed to be like I think...)
