Alhamdilullah!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-21077137 Kona and Diabaly regained! Keita told me a couple of hours ago that Diabaly had been recaptured. Now there is confirmation. Both these localities were in the government held southern part of Mali- their recapture was crucial.

This is good news. The only question that remains is whether the French joined with the Malian army on the ground - reports are that no French soldiers were seen, so if the Malian army repelled the occupiers by itself, that would be quite a boost to national morale.
